Long guarantees are only worth having if they stay valid. Here's what matters.
- Extended guarantees need an accredited installer — we register yours at handover
- A magnetic filter is mandatory on most extended warranties
- A clean system matters — powerflushing protects the heat exchanger and keeps the warranty valid
- The boiler must be serviced every 12 months by a Gas Safe engineer
- Keep your service records — manufacturers ask for them on a claim
- Worcester Bosch up to 12 years, Viessmann up to 12 years on selected models
