How much does it cost to unblock a drain?
Our call-out is £99 inc VAT for the first hour on site, and most drains are cleared within it. Stubborn blockages needing jetting are quoted as a fixed price before we carry on.
Is the drain mine or the water company's?
Shared drains and the sewer pipework are usually the water company's responsibility; the branch drain serving only your home is yours. We'll tell you straight away which it is so you don't pay for work that isn't yours to fund.
What causes repeat blockages?
Wipes and fat are the usual suspects, but repeat blockages often point to a scale build-up, root intrusion or a partially collapsed pipe. A CCTV survey finds the cause so it's fixed once.
