Before we arrive — worth two minutes
- Check the boiler pressure is above 1 bar and top up if not
- Check the thermostat batteries and that it's calling for heat
- In cold weather, pour warm water along the external condensate pipe
- Check other gas appliances still work, in case it's the meter
- Note down any fault code showing on the display
- Clear access to the boiler and the stopcock

Our diagnostic is £99 inc VAT during working hours, the same as a booked repair. Genuine out-of-hours attendance is quoted before we set off.

What if the boiler can't be repaired?
We'll tell you straight, give you a fixed replacement price, credit the diagnostic and get you temporary heaters if you need them.
