Do these three things while you wait
1. Find the stopcock
Usually under the kitchen sink. Turn it clockwise to shut the mains off, then open the cold kitchen tap to drain down.
2. Kill the power nearby
If water is anywhere near sockets, lights or a consumer unit, switch that circuit off at the board.
3. Photograph it
Send a photo on WhatsApp. It helps us bring the right parts on the first visit and it's useful for your insurance.
