The three photos we need
Step one
1. The boiler, front on
Stand back far enough to get the whole unit and the pipework underneath in shot.
Step two
2. The pipes underneath
Close up on the pipe tails so we can see the sizes and how it's currently plumbed.
Step three
3. The flue from outside
The plastic or metal outlet on the outside wall or roof — this tells us the flue run.
Also useful (but not essential)
- A photo of the boiler's data badge or serial number
- A photo of the airing cupboard if you have a cylinder
- How many bedrooms and bathrooms the house has
- Whether you want the boiler kept in the same place
- Your postcode so we can confirm we cover you
- Any fault codes currently showing

What happens next
A Gas Safe engineer — not a salesperson — looks at your photos and replies with a fixed price, or a short list of questions if something isn't clear from the pictures.
If you're happy, we book a date. If the photos show something that needs eyes on it, such as a back boiler or an awkward flue run, we'll say so and arrange a free ten-minute visit rather than guessing.
There is no follow-up campaign. If you go quiet, we leave you alone.
